Policies and Guarantees

Allergens found in Simply Sweet Bake products:

  • Milk and dairy products

  • nuts and nuts-by products

  • wheat

  • eggs and egg-by products

  • FD&C Yellow No. 5

note: although each item used on treats, cupcakes, and cakes are fda approved-some items may not be consumed. this includes and is not limited to: cake boards, cake dowels, tea straws, decorative sprinkles, images, toppers, names, or lettering, faux and fresh flowers, faux leaves, etc. all toppers are placed carefully and intentionally to ensure non consumables are apparent. if you or anyone consuming products of simply sweet bake needs clarification on what is consumable and what is not please call, text, or email at your earliest CONVENIENCE before consuming anything.

Ordering:

Orders must be placed at least 7 days in advance. if any order is placed less than 7 days in advance it is subject to a rush fee. fees may vary depending on due date from time of order and the AVAILABility of date requested.

Retainer Fee:

custom order: there is a 50% retainer fee required at the time of order confirmation. if possible, place order at least 7 days in advance to ensure no rush cost is attached to final total and pickup date is available.

Menu selections: all menu selections requires a full payment at checkout.

Refunds/Exchanges:

All items at simply sweet bake are handcrafted and made from scratch. each detail is carefully paid attention to and results in TEDIOUS work. by reason of this, we do not offer refunds or exchanges by way of money/cash/digital transactions for custom orders or menu selections.

the retainer fee is non-refundable. no exceptions shall be granted in any event.

after confirmation of pickup order and order is physically received by customer it is considered “accepted”. before physically receiving items, simply sweet bake will ask the customer to confirm that colors, shapes, designs, and writing/spelling is correct.

in some instances if any DISCREPANCY with colors/shapes/designs/writing/spelling is brought to simply sweet bake’s attention after item is physically received and any changes are requested within 3 hours of reception we will accept the item back to be modified, but there may be an additional charge.

we ask that you accept our sincerest apologies since we cannot offer any form of refund for items that have been consumed in any capacity. *store credit/percentage off of next purchase are subject to how quickly the issue is brought to simply sweet bake’s attention and what we determine the quality to be. store credit/percentage off of next purchase requests will not be implemented to those who do not contact simply sweet bake within 24 hours.

all cakes are weighed at the time of CONSTRUCTION in order to ensure each order request is fulfilled with ACCURACY. any and all cake flavors/textures/fillings taste is subjective. any portion of a refund will not be honored after item is accepted (physically RECEIVED). customer may qualify for a store credit/percentage off of next PURCHASE if item is brought back and the quality is not determined to meet simply sweet bake’s quality standard. items should be brought back wihin 12 hours of physically RECEIVING- please email or text any concerns IMMEDIATELY. the DETERMINATION of quality is up to simply sweet bake.

if the items do not meet your expectations upon pickup, then simply sweet bake will offer a refund in the form of store credit. simply sweet bake will deduct 30% (thirty percent) from the refund offered as a “labor/handling fee”.

there will be no negotiation for any form of refund if you decide to keep the items upon pickup. if a refund is offered upon pickup, then you are not allowed to keep the items if refund offer is accepted.

If any refund (store credit/percentage) offer is accepted, there will be a custom code given to customer to be used in the following 6 months.

please ensure that all details are written correctly on the order request form. if the details are not all correct, please contact simply sweet bake IMMEDIATELY by email or text.

Damages:

once products are physically received by the customer they are responsible for all items. simply sweet bake is not responsible for any damage that may occur to items during any form of transport, set-up, and any time thereafter. if there are any questions or concerns during pickup please do not hesitate to ask. cakes, cheesecakes, and cupcakes are all fragile so please keep this in mind when transporting, setting up, and any time thereafter. cracks, smudges, melted frosting, tilting cakes, etc can all be results of mishandled items. please refer to refund policy below for any questions you may have.

Pickup

the pickup address will be sent 24 hours before desired pickup date. at that moment there will be an agreement made for pickup time.

simply sweet bake and its affiliates appreciates all of its customers, inquires, and referees. the creative freedom that is ALLOTTED by its customers is valued. each custom deisgn, color, and shapes are hand crafted and subject to creative INTERPRETATION. we will do our very best to ensure each idea of yours is brought to life. if a inspiration photo is used as an idea it will serve as only an inspiration. simply sweet bake cannot guarantee an exact replica of the photo used.
